Hello blog-readers! Addy is here( and is very happy). You may be asking yourself, "Gee, why is Addy happy?" Great question! I am agitated because today at the pool, I just wanted to spend some alone time with Grant, but my friends came and kept bugging me. So Danielle our friend likes this boy who was their. So I said go hangout with him. She was to scared. So, I said just follow him then when he notices you talk to him. Oddly enough on my way back from the food court I ran into the boy. He asked me if I wanted to play cards, obviously I said no. He said do you know anyone who'd want to. I looked over at my friends and said yea go ask them. So he did and I got alone time with Grant. Hey people of Earth! Addy is here( please, hold the applause) with a new book review. But first I just wanted to apologize for not updating the blog lately. I have been very busy, but not anymore, since school ends in 4 DAYS!!!!!! Anyway, back to the books. This week I finished reading The People of Sparks, by Jeanne DuPrau. The People of Sparks is the sequel to The City of Ember. It's about the Emberites coming up to the Earth's surface, where they find themselves in the village of Sparks. The people of Sparks have never had to share their home with anyone before, causing tensions between the Emberites and the People of Sparks. Acts of violence and harsh words may once again replenish the flame of violence that ruined the Earth long ago. Despite how awesome I make this book sound, it was absolutely horrible! Read the City of Ember, but not beyond that! Well that is my review for this week( I know it's awesome). Laters!

Heyyyy guys, this is Liz!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am posting because I am SOOOOO bored!!!!!!!! It is SOOOOO hot at my house and I am dying!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today Arthur came to my softball game and it was SOOOOO embarrassing because I was hot and sweating A LOT!!!!!!!!!! Then he took me out to eat and it was all ok, sort of!!!!!!!!!! I asked Addy if she and Grant wanted to come and double date with us, but she said they would rather spend some "alone time", who knows what that could mean!!!!!!!!!! HINT HINT!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway me and Arthur had a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello blog-readers! Addy is here with her boyfriend, Grant(he says hi). Today I am reviewing Umbrella Summer, by Lisa Graff. The book is about a girl named Annie whose brother was just recently killed by taking a hockey puck to the chest(Grant knows how serious this is because he plays hockey). After his death, Annie takes precautions for everything...even just walking down the street! Annie is like a turtle that won't come out of its shell; too afraid to face the world. Only with the help of old and new friends will Annie realize that sometimes you have to just spread your wings and don't be afraid to fly. Well, I have to go, Pixie just peed on my carpet(Bad Girl!). Hey guys, this is Elizabeth with another new post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am review the 2nd book in the House of Dies Dreare, by Virginia Hamilton. The first book in the series was REALLY AMAZING!!!!!!! The 2nd, on the other hand, was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole series is about a boy who moves in to this very old house where he encounters weird old men and crazy adventures! It is a mystery series and supposed to be a little scary, but the 2nd book was obvious and not creepy at all!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are going to read the series stop after the first one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey internet goer-oners! Addy is here with another book review that you will love( who am I kidding, you already love our stuff!) K, so I am here reviewing Runaway Twin, by Peg Kehret. The book's about this girl named Sunny that was seperated from her twin sister 10 years ago, and has been bouncing between foster homes ever since. Sunny sets out with a purse full of money( that she found :/) and a dog named Snickers to find her long lost twin. On the way, she encounters mean people, storms and the cold hard truth. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give this book a 1 because it was down-right HOR-RIB-LE! I would not reccomend this book to anyone, even if they paid me! Yo, what up people Lizzy here (Elizabeth). Sorry I haven't been posting as often as I should, but my softball team is in the playoffs and there is a lot of traveling. Also between my friends and school I hardly have any time to eat, sleep, or like Addy said BREATH! Also, I just got a BOYFRIEND! His name is Arthur. Today I am going to review Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin. This book although and old love story is AMAZING! I soooo recommend this book. It is about a girl back in old England who has many sisters. She goes to a ball and meets these 2 rich men. Her sister is quickly liked by Mr. Bingly, but Elizabeth (the main character) isn't having the same luck with Mr. Darcy. She is poor and he is extremely rich, that is why Mr. Darcy won't admit to loving her. He really does love her, but he is to prejudice to her being not rich and to proud that he is! To find out whether they end up together READ THE BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi people! Addy here, and I am WAY happier than I will ever be again( cherrish this moment). So as you may have read in Stories by Us, I was at a loss for a date to the dance and was left with the option of going with my BFFL, Grant. We have been friends since first grade when I accidentally spilled chocolate milk on him. Seems like an odd way to start a friendship, right? But after the reject from Keith, I decided to ask Grant anyway. He said yes, and we actually had a good time....despite the fact that the dance was outside and it started raining! So now we are kinda-sorta-almost dating....I think.

Hey viewers, guess who?! Addy here. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, the last few days have been total chaos at my my house. Between my lacrosse schedule, my bro's baseball games, and my sis' softball schedule, I hardly have time to breathe! But enough about my chaotic lifestyle and on to the next book I am reviewing. It's called Getting Air, by Dan Guttman. It's about these four kids going to Cali. over the summer for a big skateboarding competition. But on the flight, they face a total nightmare: The plane gets hijacked by terrorists. The kids, along with the help of a sweet old lady and a gentle flight attendant, overthrow the terrorists. But now they face yet ANOTHER problem: The plane has crashed in the middle of nowhere, and they have no way of getting out. Now, summer vacation is all about trying to get back home. I'm back(yet again)! K, so Addy here with my review on the book Turtle in Paradise, by Jennifer L. Holm. The book is about a girl named Turtle who gets sent away from her mother whose working for a woman who doesn't like kids. Turtle goes to live with her Aunt Minnie and 3 cousins Beans, Kermit and Buddy in Key West. But not even the Florida Keys are paradise during the Great Depression. In 1935, money is low, jobs are scarce and Turtle finds that the people themselves are down-right mean. Only with the help of her bitter-sweet cousins and unlikely friends will Turtle discover that you don't need money to be happy; you need your family.

Hey guys this is Elizabeth! I'm going to write another book review for you! The book I'm going to review is Mockingbird by Kathryn Erskine. Kathryn Erskine has created a wonderful book filled with extremely sad moments. Mockingbird is about a girl with autism. This girl has the by far hardest life ever! She has no friends and is made fun of due to her autism. Also, her brother has just recently passed and her mother passed years ago! Though she has an extremely hard social life and family life (her brother was her only friend) she is still extremely smart and can draw almost anything. By the time she was about 8 she was reading adult books that her dad was reading. I really recommend reading this book! It is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Sup, people! Addy here with my next book review. Okay, so the next book I will be informing you about is Love, Aubrey, by Suzanne LaFluer. So basically the book's about a girl named Aubrey who's mother left her on her own after her sister and father die in a car crash. She moves in with her Grandmother and meets new friends who help her readjust to her new life. This book was absolutely amazing because it was sad and gripping(I LOVE sad stories)and really reached out to the reader's heart. On a scale of 1 to 10, Love, Aubrey gets a 10. Hey guys it's me Elizabeth!!!!!!!!!!! My next book that I'm going to tell you about is a book called Bear Dancer by Thelma Hatch Wyss. I didn't like this book one bit! Truthfully I would give this book at the most 2 stars. I would only give it two because it lacked detail, but at least it had some sort of plot. It was very confusing to me because of the lack of detail. I definitely would not recommend it. P.S. When Addy posts and it says my name, she does it from my password but on her computer. :)

Ok, Addy here. It's like, 6:20 at night and I'm like REALLY bored. So I'm just gonna make a list of words that pop in to my head at this very minute: cupcakes, lizard, wizard, palm tree, trash can, nebula, epic, Iyaz, t-shirt, pen, ink, toilet. That's it. Goodbye....for now.;)

She lives with her and her neighbor, Bernie, who has a fear of leaving her house. Heidi ends up taking a cross-country journey to find out about her mother's past. On the way, she'll meet friends and discover some shocking facts about her mother's past. This is literally my FAVORITE BOOK EVER!!!!! On a scale of 1 to 10, So B. It gets an 11. Hey Elizabeth here, my first book that I am going to tell you about is Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls. This is a heart felt book about a boy and his two dogs. Their relationship touched my heart. The 3 main characters are Billy and his two dogs Little Ann and Old Dan. This trio would do anything for each other. The definite theme for this book is friendship! I would personally give this book 5 stars. I hope you will love it as much as i did!!!!!!! p.s this book is a must read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
